The upper is oiled leather in Biscay Bay, a turquoise tone that will darken and mark with wear as the oils move through the hide. Three straps cross the foot, each closing with a gold-tone pin buckle, and a braided section runs across the instep and toe. All three straps adjust, so you can set the hold over the toes and the midfoot separately. This is the narrow (N) fitting, cut for a slimmer foot, and it runs in sizes 36 to 42. Expect the footbed to take an impression of your foot over the first few weeks of regular wear.
