The Itatiaia K29 is Arcopedico's take on the Mary-Jane, and the Stardust Navy finish is the drawcard: a synthetic upper flecked with tiny dots of light, so it reads as navy from a distance and shows a little shimmer up close. A single instep strap closes with hook-and-loop, which means you can set the fit over a higher or flatter instep and still step in and out without fuss. The toe is round and roomy through the front, the topline is finished with a soft fabric trim, and there is a pull tab at the heel for easy entry. Underneath, a moulded navy sole lifts to a low wedge at the back with a patterned tread across the ball and heel. Tonal navy from top to toe makes it an easy shoe to wear with trousers, denim or a skirt on days when you are on your feet.

Ming Blue is a proper mid-tone blue, warm enough to feel like a colour rather than a stand-in for navy, which makes this Arcopedico flat an easy lift for denim, dark trousers and heavier winter knits. The Thy is cut as a Mary-Jane, so a single strap sits across the instep and holds the foot in place without any lacing to fuss over, and it slips on and off quickly on days when the shoes come off more than once. The upper is synthetic, giving it a smooth, even finish and a consistent colour across the whole shoe. The Daintree J72 is a low-cut lace-up shoe in a kaki synthetic upper, finished tonally so the laces, eyelet panel and outsole all sit in the same olive-brown register. The upper is lightly grained, with a stitched toe overlay, a smooth padded collar and a branded pull tab at the heel to help you get it on. Five pairs of metal eyelets let you set the fit across the instep, and the footbed is printed with the Arcopedico mark. The moulded sole wraps up at the toe and heel with a fine textured edge, and is sculpted through the arch so the shoe sits close to the ground at the forefoot. It wears as an everyday shoe for walking and casual days, and the dark kaki hides scuffs well. Offered in European sizes 35 to 43.
