Hello shoe lovers! Summer spring and summer stock is arriving in store now, in time to get ready for warmer weather. Right now is the best time to get the maximum variety and best range of sizes.
Because many of our suppliers only do a twice yearly drop we get a lot of stock in at the start of the two retail seasons (September and March) and some things cannot be restocked as the season progresses. So for the best variety in styles and the best range of sizes now is the moment!
So what Summer stock has arrived so far:
Ecco
A favourite for both their comfortable walking sandals such as the offroad (which I can attest handle Kyaking and other water sports well) as well as their more polished work wear such as the Metropole Seoul, ECCO are a long running favourite. They are sustainable and all production is in house in ECCO factories so that they can ensure living wages and safe working conditions. The shoes above are from the ECCO BIOM range and come in the soft ballet pink and black. They are comfortable, supportive and very popular at the moment. Zendaya even wore a black pair on the red carpet last American Summer.
Fly London
Just a lot of fun! Plenty of colour, made in Portugal. They have different lines built on different lasts so there is some variety in width. Typically the Fly London shoes run normal width. These lovely ones give you height but not too high a heel drop as the front of the foot is also on a platform.
Art
Also a very fun European brand. They are typically normal to wide fitting, many with removable footbeds. We have a variety of comfortable sandals and work shoes form Art to choose from this Summer; loafers, mary janes etc.
Hispanitas
Hispanitas are fabulous shoes made primarily in Spain but also Portugal. This season they have a range of beautiful woven dressy shoes that come in gold, panna and cerise. Heel heights vary and there are three styles to choose from. Sizes are limited so if you want some I recomend hurrying in.
Zinda
A new brand for Icon Footwear, these point toes are suprisingly comfortable. The sole moulds well to the foot and moves with you while the shape of the toe box is created to keep your toes out of the point. Pre point there is plenty of room so you look sharp, literally but your feet are happy.
Conclusion
Other brands that have already arrived include Birkenstock (and this one we do get continual drops all summer so if we don't have your shoe yet, we will have it soon), El Naturalista, Dorking, Fluchos, Klouds, Frankie 4. We are eagerly awaiting the Laura Vita and Wolky shoes, as well as Haflinger slippers and the Ganter and some other summer brands from some new suppliers that we will introduce later. We do do vouchers and they make a great gift!
